Those extractor are the absolute worse. Grind out the centers and they apply pressure that expands the bolt actually making it tighter in the threads.

Drive a socket type torx bit in. They’re the best extractor tool. They don’t expand the broken bolt and make tighter.

Ive only had 1 successful go with ez out and that was a pipe nipple in my steam engine boiler after heating it cherry😊

The best tool I've ever used are left hand drill bits. If you can center punch the broken bolt, it will come out eventually with a large enough bit. You don't need a full set but they need to cobalt and they need to be quality.

Left hand drill works better from my experience. When the extractor fails. Try the LH drill. You'll see

GOD them things are JUNK!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Get the SQUARE ONES they work the BEST!!!! I do not remember who makes them but WOW WORK GREAT!!!
