Bambu has proven themselves a couple of times to be a bag of dicks. But really drove the point home this week. Never again will I buy a printer from them. They are no longer the only one doing what they are doing.

The bambu sponsorship has really badly aged considering their anti-consumer actions this past month.
They repeated use of the phrase "that's all I'm going to say about it" gave the vibe that you are aware of the current controversy but are also obligated to fulfill existing sponsor deals. I hope that you finish out your sponsor deal with bamboo to whatever degree is required, and then drop them as a sponsor for how anti-consumer and right to repair they are
If I were Super Fast, I'd go find a different sponsor super fast because there are some serious issues on the software side of the house. But as I am not Super Fast, my Prusa gets my job done and I don't feel like I'm being spied on.

Hey other people mentioned it but you have to call out bamboo. Even if you tell people that the machine is excellent and then tell them that the company needs to do better and to hold off on buying until they get their act together
Remember folks, telling Matt about how you like his video and dislike the Bambu sponsorship is good. It increases algorithmic engagement metrics while simultaneously telling Matt that his sponsor is a bum and he'd be better served by someone else. There do appear to be hints that he might already know, but leave the comments anyways! Please don't call him a sell-out. He surely has contractual obligations here. Love the video dude, hope you can kick the sponsor to the door when the time comes.
Can't in good conscious even consider Bambu Labs anymore. Not after they threatening an open source developer with false claims. There's a line, I'm not quite sure where it is, but intimidation is definitely on the side of that line where I point my metaphorical guns. It's a shame that good products are tied to companies run by trash humans.

I really would like to hear your opinion on all of the bambu controversies. I know that isn't likely as they keep your lights on and I cant blame you for that, I just think you would have an interesting perspective both as an avid user of their products and as someone who's worked extensively with the company.
