I have dodged many pieces and chunks of these tire treads that come off 18 wheelers traveling up and down the state of California on Interstate-5. One time I missed a tire by a few feet after it flew off a Semi truck but the car behind me hit it head on and it tore off their entire front bumper. The damage was crazy.

Retrades are dangerous and are banned in some countries. Under heavy stress the tire separates
