Especially at 10-15' away... Was a bit different if you read that after action report of that (famous in the gun world) shooting involving the FBI, ATF, and a few other acronym LEO groups, where something around 144 rounds were fired at a drugged up felon in a car. Calibers fired were something like, 0.40(likely Springfield Arms/S&W/Glock/Sig), 0.45(likely S&W1911 OR GLock), 9mm(likely the 92fs or Glock 19), 0.223(AR), and 0.22LR(full auto mp5), the round that delivered the fatal blow... a 0.22LR bouncing around in dudes dome piece. Can you imagine, 144 rounds fired, all those larger calibers, and its a 22LR that kills the guy... Then the two Nevada (washoe county?) deputies that were in a shoot out, both got shot, one died, one survived because the would have been fatal shot was stopped by his department issued Sheriff's deputy badge... That's reality, that's how unpredictable actual gunfights can be.

It’s also higher grade steel. They use higher grade steel on critical support areas of the structure.

Engine blocks in large trucks or old vehicles are your only hope. Modern compact cars are mostly plastic under the hood and won't stop anything. A big v8 will but like the pillars it's still easy to fire through the engine bay and not hit the actual block

Could you try that with a challenger. Bulky and heavy as that thing is it has to be a little more sturdy. And at least it’s watertight. After being submerged for two minutes when the car was pulled from the water we were still dry. Granted we had not been shot at first.

Is this a tourist information session? Could I ask which state? I think I might want to avoid it.
