idk why its a remake but its good to try to bring out old ips, they need to do more of that second part
Still not worth buying an entire game system.
Miyamoto’s hair is insane. For a 70 year old man to have such luscious, healthy looking hair is crazy.
As a life-long Star Fox fan, this is the literal worst outcome possible, it could not be genuinely worse, it's yet another re-hash that erases the entire canon, even if the gameplay is fucking bangin' it's still these same areas pretty much unchanged.
Miyamoto: "Wanna see me make Star Fox 64? Wanna see me do it again?"
I think the realistic take on the art style works specifically because they're animals. Because they're not humans, it's much more difficult for it to cross into that uncanny valley territory.
I swear this series only gets new games whenever Nintendo wants to show off some hardware gimmick.
The problem with remaking the same game this many times is that we can't demonstrate that we want a new entry if the only thing available to buy is the old game. We just demonstrate we want old games.
After the mario movie featuring star fox it was clear that something was cookin
The art style reminds me of the youtube parody show fox in space, I think these new designs are pretty great honestly.
Look I totally respect wanting Star Fox to evolve but I talked to three people tonight and they are thrilled
Banjo Kazooie: _”Please remake me”_ Star Fox 64: _”LOL ANOTHER REMAKE OF ME!?!”_
I'm excited to buy/play this, as long as we don't have to wait another decade for the next one.
My biggest problem with the character designs is that they literally just don’t emote or express themselves; I can’t read any emotions off their faces. I don’t care about them looking ‘realistic’, that’s bit bad in itself, but that doesn’t mean they have to strip their personality along with it.
At least Star Fox has a future. If Zero didn’t kill this franchise, I can only see it going up from here.
This feels like what I envisioned a Microsoft owned Rare game would be.
This is literally the “if x was a modern aaa game” meme.
To me, the realism is hindered by the fact that, like in the original 64 game, the character’s faces don’t emote much. They just the static face expression from the old game and upscaled them into a realistic style and it feels unsettling.
So I guess we know why Star Fox was in the Mario Galaxy movie...
You have to think that they are wanting this to be a consistent franchise now. Star Fox zero was 10 years ago. My son is almost eight he wasn't even born yet. And he's excited to play this, as am I. I was younger than him when Star Fox 64 came out and I love it to this day. This seems to be a genuine effort to make Star Fox an actual frequent series, I hope this sells well so we can get original star Fox sequels
