You have the cast iron grates upside down. The pointed bits are supposed to be down and the flat sides up. I made this mistake with my Weber until their web site set me straight.
Thanks. Just finished putting my E325 together and am doing a first time burn off. Yep. The wheels are very so-so. I am cannibalizing an old grill I'm dumping so I have solid wheels I used on it from a hardware store. I think the is a good compliment to my primary mesquite burning Kamado. Great review!
I just bought the 325 literally today and got it nice and hot to burn off any factory residue or chemical chemicals on the metals… Then seasoned the holy poopoo out of it and it’s nice and gold inside there. Watching this inspired a lot of confidence. Maybe my eyes deceive me but the sides are plastic?…. I don’t know. I guess they wouldn’t do it if it was bad for it. But off the bat, it gets a lot hotter than my old less expensive grill
Oh my! You crack me up. And those cheap wheels might be the ONLY reason we upgrade to the EP-325. I really wanted both side to collapse, but I need to be able to pull it out from the deck hand rails for heat protection.
But..... When you get a little flame up on you very old grill while cooking your burgers, and you get a little char and it's absolutely wonderful. Cooked at about 400, 5 minutes each side -- give or take if you get the flare up. Of course, this is starting off with a nice blend of brisket or prime rib burgers, seasoned with your fav. seasoning(Montreal Streak or Holy Cow), cheesed with a slice of Havarti and smoked white cheddar, and with a light spread of either real mayo or smoky bacon aioli. Seriously, I appreciate the review of the Weber. We need to be replacing ours and want something a touch larger for entertaining, though we don't entertain a great deal so a huge one would be a waste. This or the slightly larger four-burner model might be perfect for us.
Sorri Charlie…I have one of these Chinese built pieces of shit and if I were you I would look elsewhere. These sear function is crap as well!
Just hit up the Home Depot and bought one after your review. Thanks!
Topgun BBQ #1
I wonder how fast the body will rot on that one.
Bought this last October once it started to cool down/freeze here in Wisconsin. Used it pretty much all winter long. This thing is amazing. Cooked all my steaks, brats and burgers and nothing ever took more than 10 minutes
Great review, thanks. Have to say I am liking the look of Weber Grills. About to refit a new build outdoor grilling area so will be investigating everything Weber 👍🍺🇬🇧🇺🇸
Part of the reason I got rid of my old Weber grill was because it was challenging to clean the inside and it took up a lot of space. Between the added sear zones, removable pan, hidden tank, and folding side tables... this is a perfect grill for a compact space.
What a personality 😂
Piece of junk. ✅
Works really well in freezing temperature. Mind blown how great it is
Just bought the E325 Stealth model from Lowe’s. It’s all black, 4 caster wheels, and a digital temperature readout. Will be using it this week for the first time.
Cool review. Useful. What are those gloves!
Looking to upgrade from a well-used Spirit 200 series and this one too looks like a great choice. And I don't like some of the flare ups I get even after a good cleaning but does that char on a burger ever add to the flavorful enjoyment.
The music in this video is super annoying
Can somebody buy him tongs?
