U eat it upsidedown in order to eat more cleanly. The juices tear up the bottom, while the top is usually thicker therfoe it doesnt tear up
I place my burger upside down on my plate. But rotate it as I bring it up the my mouth. Since his burger was upside down with the bite facing away from him he did the same.
