Ingredients: Ribs: Baby Back Ribs My Stew’s BBQ Sweet Smolder Spritz: Dr. Pepper Braise: Butter Brown sugar Honey About 1/2 cup Dr Pepper Dr. Pepper Candy Glaze: 1 cup Dr Pepper 3/4 cup Killer Hogs The BBQ Sauce 2 tbsp brown sugar 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce 1 tbsp butter 1 tsp chipotle powder 1 tbsp hot honey Instructions: 1. Remove membrane from ribs, pat dry, and slice into individual party ribs. 2. Season generously on all sides. 3. Fire up smoker to 275Β°F. Ran this cook on my Z Grills 700D4E using Royal Oak Charcoal & Hickory pellets. 4. Place ribs directly on grates and smoke at 275Β°F. Once bark begins forming, spritz with Dr. Pepper every 30 minutes. 5. After about 3 hours, transfer ribs to a foil pan. Add: Dr. Pepper Butter pats Brown sugar Honey Cover tightly and place back on smoker until tender, about 1 hour. 6. While those finish cooking, make the glaze. Combine Dr. Pepper, BBQ sauce, brown sugar, honey, butter, Worcestershire sauce, and chipotle powder in a saucepan. Simmer until slightly thickened. 7. Pull ribs from pan, coat generously with glaze, and place back on smoker uncovered to tack up. 8. Finish with a light dusting of Rub and serve up πŸ€™πŸ»
