Gillian - Try this for an even CLEANER Caesar Salad dressing! It's just 1/2 mashed Hass Avocado or a whole small one; one minced garlic clove; the juice of 1/2 to 1 whole lemon; 1 teaspoon Dijon mustard and then 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of lemon juice you used of Eden Ume plum vinegar. So if you used 1 tablespoon of lemon juice; use 1/3 to 1/2 tablespoon of Ume Plum vinegar which gives it the Umami flavor and adds saltiness. Then just whisk to combine.Pour over the salad and sprinkle fresh cracked pepper There is no need to dirty a blender and have to clean it later. If the dressing is a little chunky that is fine since for the salad, you want to slice the rest of the avocado and add that in with the lettuce. Also the salad should be Romaine lettuce and/or the tender leafy greens like Boston lettuce and have thinly sliced red onions and the other half of the avocado sliced. You can even serve this to standard American diet eaters used to Caesar salads with loads of parmesan cheese and egg yolks... and they won't miss the cheese or the eggs. The avocado makes it nice and creamy too. Also I avoid cashews since they are actually not nuts but legumes and not actually very good for us. Also READ THE LABEL of coconut liquid aminos. They contain Excitotoxin neurotoxic additives which are NOT NOT GOOD!!! Using Organic Tamari or Shoyu would be FAR BETTER than coconut liquid aminos.

Definitely not watermelon season yet 😞 Bought 25 lbs of juicing carrots today and some organic grapes, it’s not easy going fully raw , but I agree that once you start eating more fruits & veggies you don’t crave the pizza and pasta stuff. The Cesar salad looks really good !
This is great I will definitely try this dressing.. I love Cesar salads and my other favorite is a ginger habachi style dressing.. I think with the Cesar I’d maybe try my vegan parmesan cheese on top.. simple ground up hemp seeds with nutritional yeast and salt..

Gillian!!! Hey there. Love Caesar salad sooo much. I make the dressing with the same ingredients and YUM! I could eat Caesar salad every day 😂 I just made my first raw cheese(which needs some adjustments) and I now make crackers with my juicer pulp. I am high Raw and try to get creative and see how I can make recipes Raw now. When I'm eating Raw as much as possible I just feel so great. Watching this made me so hungry - I had to try the dressing right away. So I made it with what I had: instead of soaked cashews, I used some hemp and sunflower seeds with some zucchini and mushrooms for the base. I left out the oil and salt, and added a splash of soy sauce (next time I'll try celery as the salt replacement). I had to put it on cabbage since I was out of lettuce. I put a little broccoli in it and some artichoke hearts too. It was so delicious I had to lick the bowl myself instead of handing to my dogs as I usually do! This will definitely become a regular meal for me! Next time I'll try it with the tomato soup.
