Man reminds me of 2007-2008. I’d get home from school in 6th grade and watch this everyday.
It’s like this guy fell off the face of the planet. I really want to see more of him not just short reels. I hope you see this comment Travel Channel.
Getting all cozy in bed and watching bizarre foods is just amazinggggg
Where as Bourdain was like acerbic and snide but ultimately compassionate and curious, Zimmern gives off eccentric professor energy with the obscure knowledge and the enthusiasm to try anything. They were the perfect double act.
Best show in the history of food/cooking shows. Best host, best show, best food. BRING ZIMMERN BACK!!!!
This guy's immune system has to be nothing short of heroic.
Andrew Zimmern I think is the first exotic food vlogger. I have been watching his video even before vlogging was boom
I used to watch Bizarre Foods with Andrew Zimmerman ALL the time.
Andrew is the best taster because he actually describes what he’s experiencing instead of just “delicious” “bad” “good”
Truly the best person to review a culture and its food. Andrew doesn’t sugar coat things and actually tells you if he’s not a fan of what he’s eating. I’m tired of watching food travelers that continuously just rave about everything they eat as the “best thing they have eaten ever”. When in fact you can clearly see it’s not. Such authenticity coming from him! We miss you Mr. Zimmerman. This is also bringing me back to my middle school days 😢❤
Where have you been Andrew?? I watched you for years, then you were gy. If you were sick or something I'll pray for you. But everybody missed you 😢. Glad you're back.
andrew is the original food vlogger
Ever since I first watched his show, Andrew Zimmern remains my TOP All-Time food personaity. He's been to many of the U.S. and oversea countries I served in during my 20 years career in the USAF, and he brought back numerous markets and food memories. Thank you Andrew.
This guy was my spirit animal. My dad being in the navy, we moved a lot, including spending 7 years in Cuba. We could take short flights to Port AuPrince Haiti, and Jamaica and Puerto Rico. The FOOD! I was a tween and I got to tear through the market in Port Au Prince fearlessly eating my way through. (ABSOLUTELY NO knowledge of bacteria, viruses, food borne illness) Yes, please! Pig knuckles in gravy over rice, Curried Goat, Gingerbread, snails in garlic. I can't remember everything but I was relentless in my pursuit of....gathering flavors. I love to watch Andrew and remember all the spicy, weird and funky things I found along with the delicious ones. There were separate housing areas on the base for Cubans, for Jamaicans.....they had their own chow hall and we hit THOSE for lunch. Stewed plantains, beans and rice, more curried goat. Fried sweet plantain. Fruits I'd never seen before, including more mangos than one could shake a stick at. I told my friends if I ever won the lottery, I'd travel the world markets tasting and smelling and feeling EVERYTHING. Of course...I didn't win the lottery. But I love watching Andrew much his way through! I'd so do it with him! I later moved to Southern California and hit the Markets over the border in Mexico with much the same vigor. Buche. Got to try it....fried pork stomach! 👍👍👍👍
I used to watch Andrew's Bizarre Food reports on TV all the time and learned a lot from him. Here's one example: Some years ago, I was in the Philippines and decided to follow his advice: "Go to eat where the locals go." I saw a long line of people waiting, so I joined it without asking any questions or hesitating. Sure enough, the food was good and not that expensive.
I used to watch these episodes time & again. What happened to his TV Show carreer?
This is totally counterintuitive, but every time I'm pregnant, watching Bizarre Foods helps me overcome morning sickness and keep up my appetite. I dunno why it is, but thank goodness! Andrew is the nicest❤
Im glad Andrew did all this tasting for us but am impressed by his honesty.
I always liked Andrew's personality. He clearly showed a friendly personality that others picked up on. He would be honest with what he thought about what he was eating, good or bad, but would always be incredibly respectful to the people he was around. Especially to the ones making the food for him.
Mr Zman I am reaching out to thank you. I am a paramedic in the Vail Valley and you were part of an EMS appreciation meal I will never forget. Thank you.
