Corrupt Food Industry - How come ham is pink? Why do we believe that it is good for our children? Why are product labels beyond understanding? Industrial giants are able to stall and orientate policy decisions that directly affect public health. Corrupt Food Industry (2016) Director: Guillaume Coudray, Sandrine Rigaud Writers: Guillaume Coudray, Sandrine Rigaud Genre: Documentary Country: France Language: English Also Known As: Cash Investigation: The Meat Lobby: Big Business Against Health? Release Date: December 1, 2016 (France) Filming Location: Paris, France Synopsis: In 2015, the WHO listed one of the additives in processed meats as carcinogenic. That same additive was nearly banned in America in the 1970s – until lobbying from the meat industry discredited the scientists. We reveal how, to impede or halt regulations on certain additives, lobbyists have been working in the shadows for decades. At the heart of this strategy are the scientists who collaborate, who receive generous compensation for studies that promote meat consumption. In conjunction with this, those whose work finds health risks associated with meat are ‘shot down’. From Brittany to Denmark, through California and Wisconsin, director Sandrine Rigaud conducted a year-long investigation on the tactics of the meat industry. Reviews: "This documentary on its own provides a lot of good information related to the declining health of our society and also info about the little-known, secretive mechanisms, industry influencers and disnformation propagators of the meat industry. A must watch for those interested in health. This, along with some other great health documentaries on Prime, illuminate a disturbing picture of declining American health and provide good suggestions for a way forward and fixing it all. Five stars." - written by "Travis ;)" on Amazon.com Also Known As (AKA): (original title) The meat lobby: big business against health? France The meat lobby: big business against health? :05 cannot resist my laugh...omg...
Money and greed controls our world indeed.
43:00 You can just smell and feel the cancer in that room. 🤮
I live in the U.S., I think a big majority of us here know how toxic our food is. However nobody seems to care, we are allowing our government and food companies to poison us. It’s trutly disgusting
Boycotting highly processed foods just might send a strong message to companies producing toxic ingredients disguised as "food" being approved by the FDA.
That guy in the SHAMELESS Jim Tozzi's office had become so angry that he even came up with the dirty words against the journalists. SHAME on Jim Tozzi and his office!!
31:00 lol how the attitude changed was crazy
This just reminded me of something, I completely changed my habits by finding out book called 21 Former doctor secrets by Rachel Morgan. It has been censored.
Time to ban all processed foods.
The fact that I'm not surprised is scary
The food industry is not corrupt, it's criminal period
What breaks my heart is that despite thorough investigation exposing the food industry, scientists, academia and government complicity in poisoning consumers, we consumers still patronize these evil companies. We are literally bankrolling our own demise. Such kind of journalism never wins pulitzer prize.
Not exactly sure what the purpose of the FDA and USDA/FSIS are these days. Time to dismantle and reconstruct. 🇺🇸✊
David Klurfeld. Example of how criminal have selective memories. Don't remember he got paid, and he says in with a smile, like you can't get me.
The fear in their eyes when asked for an on spot interview is crystal clear
Relying on governments, health commissioners, health studies… etc… forget them all. Search for and gain knowledge about your food and take your health and diet into your own hands. Eat as clean as possible, eat a whole foods diet and eliminate processed ‘food’. End of story.
It seems that nothing from the supermarket is worth buying and consuming. Thank you for doing the research and unmasking the culprits, but I fear that the majority of people simply don't care about their health until it's too late. Kudos to the Denmark people for choosing better.
Boycott corruption with your spending
Massive investigation, thank you for all your hard work on behalf of consumers worldwide. 🤗🤗🤗🤗🤗
They are the masters of deceiving, “maybe it's the ketchup, maybe it's the mustard or the bun.” lol 😂😂😂
