You've reached the end
After doing some math on this based on these ingredients barring the inclusion of salt: 1 Pork Patty: 74mg sodium 1 Egg Square: 65mg sodium 1 English Muffin: 132mg Sodium (depending on brand) 1 Slice of Cheddar Cheese: approx 160mg sodium All the seasonings combined barring salt are going to be roughly below 10mg by just eyeballing it. Sumtotal for one of these sandwiches without mayo or salt is approximately: 431mg of Sodium. That's pretty damn good if you're trying to limit your intake.
Put the sauce on when your ready to eat so the muffin donβt get soggy
Made it this morning. Loved them. I thought it might be dry with the pork mince but wasnβt at all. Spicy mayo gives it a bit more moisture and flavour.
Bro didnβt show him eating it, red flag
I made these with ground turkey and they were amazing definitely added to my meal prep
I literally have goosebumps. This is what my family needs for budget friendly Healthier commuter breakfast.
Add cottage cheese to those eggs, adds protein and imo makes the eggs texture better
Your macros and calories are wrong. Each one would be approximately: 633 cal 33g fat 29g carb 54g protein
Just a quick think on this, you can cut a FEW calories off this if you swap the regular English Muffins for the 647 brand. Only 90 cals per muffin and actually has 4 grams of fiber and more protein than the Thomases. I make these and I got them down to 280 per sandwich, and swapping out for turkey bacon or turkey sausage you can get down to 250.
Add these ingredients to your pork mince and it will taste exactly the same as a McSausage patty. 500g or 1lb pork mince 1/2 tsp sage 1/2 tsp thyme 1/4 tsp pepper 1 tsp onion powder 1 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp marjoram Pinch of nutmeg Salt to taste
Can confirm this works. I lost a little over 50 lbs in six months a few years back and the only thing i changed was i'd prep these for the week on Sunday (breakfast and lunch). Mine were ham instead of sausage and mustard instead of mayo, and clocked in around 300cal each. That put me at 1200 calories for dinner. I have ADHD and will literally eat 9 donuts because they are there (someone else ate the other 3) unless i have a healthy choice within reach. Having a sandwich ready to go kept me away from the vending machines and drivethrus for long enough to need a new wardrobe.
I love making food that I experience at restaurants at home. Thank you for this!
Guys, please count the calories, these are 626 calories each, NOT 385!!!
I like how bro calls these recipes easy and they actually are, unlike a lot of the recipes you find online
Not sure why everyone is shittin on this. It had a carb, a fat and protein. Use turkey instead ?? Sure. Who cares. The portion size was on point too. Thank you for sharing
I followed this to a tea but my eggs got huge bubbles and over cooked on your settings. I have a normal everyday , regular oven A modern ish one but nothing fancy. Like a mid 2010+ oven and the setting I found that cooks them super well is 350 for 11-14 minutes 400 is super super hot
I am just going to end up eating all seven of them on the way to work
Including salad like iceberg in the last minute also helps increasing volume, and I personally love the juicy watery fresh aspect it adds to a sandwich π¦π§π₯ Also cottage cheese could pair really well, and replacing the spicy mayo by sriracha + ketchup is way less caloric! Lastly, Iβd add a slice of ham in a pan with a drop of sesame oil and throw that in here for extra proteins and a crispy bacon feelπ₯β€
with my counting it was closer to 500 cal and 30g each
Bro got straight to the point π₯
