Pro tip: Put your meat in the freezer for about 45 minutes. This allows the outside to firm up a bit and makes cutting things into slices much easier. We used this hack in the kitchen all the time.

If you donโt have a vac seal, You can get a deep bowl of water and some resealable (freezer safe) ziplocks and used the bowl of water to push all the air out of the bag

I LOVE my vac sealer! It has saved me so much money on just the loss of frost-bitten food alone! But Iโve really appreciated that I can marinade my meats and seal them up to cook at a later date. It saves SO much time and effort.
