My tip for meal prepping is to make half recipes of at least two different meals, and then alternate them. That way you don't get bored on day 5 eating the exact same thing and get tempted to buy takeout or skip a meal. To make it easier the meals can involve a lot of the same components, like say rice or the same protein or vegetables, but if you change up the flavor, texture, and mode of eating between them (maybe a wrap for one and a fork dish for the other) it'll help you not waste food.
