Meal prepping isnβt easy, but damn it feels good when itβs time to eat since itβs all done
I spend three hours every week, once a week, cooking my meals for the next seven days. It's SO nice to just be able to reach into my fridge or freezer and have a meal to reheat, instead of constantly wondering what I'm going to eat (and making poor food decisions because of it). The only thing you need to get used to is eating the same thing for days in a row, but honestly for me it reduces the decision fatigue enough to make it worth it.
Put paper towels under the fruit/veg/salads that are confined. It helps soak up the excess moisture, keeping the fruits fresh. x
Just one tip, don't keep olive oil in see through bottle, it makes the oil go bad, since it is light sensitive, that is why in store good olive oil is in dark green/brown glass bottles
Cooking looks so relaxing when youβre rich
My husband started doing this because he got tired of me eating out at work πππππ
Where is the ultra-processed food? Where is the refined sugar? (wink, wink) THERE IS NONE! Prepping food for the day is one of the best ways to make sure that YOU are maintaining control of your diet and not ending up hostage to restaurants. Great share, Krissy! <3
I just have a habit of not wanting to eat the same meal every day for 7 days straight. I honestly hate itπππ
Iβve always struggled with this concept because I like freshly cooked meals right off the heat , only reheating for leftovers and thatβs a smalll portion
There are nothing better than eating fresh food that has been cooked same day.
There is no way these potatoes taste good after 3 days π
I canβt eat the same meal after day 3 my taste buds will not be happy however kudos to you because I know it saves lots of time and itβs healthy.
I cook fresh food from scratch everyday for my family.
A girl who isn't afraid to season their chicken. ππ½
My husband & I do this every Sunday. Friday we get takeout (our cheat day) but Monday through Thursday, we pull the dinners out of the fridge & heat them up. For a couple hours work on Sunday, it's totally worth it.
I cook for my family of 4 every sunday and we eat those meals for the whole week. It has really given us a better quality of life and I have more free time after work everyday to spend time with my children and my husband. We usually cook one protein for the whole week clean up a bunch of fruit and have some of it chopped up. I prep all of our lunches for work and freeze breakfast burritos for us too. Another big plus is the money saved.
I ainβt prepping in no crop top and white pants. Iβm all about the apron, tatty leggings etc! And my kitchen after meal prep is π£π«£π€·πΌββοΈ
More videoβs like this pretty please! Iβve been watching your journey for some years now and love your progress and definitely helps motivate me. Just wanted to share since you share so much for us π«Άπ½
I like that you actually seasoned your food and ate fruit. So many of these "fitness influencers" have demonized fruit and it's crazy.
Ohhh I love those containers, especially the ones with the divider for oats. Where are they from???
