As a non American, its crazy to me, how many different fastfood stops there are.
The sad thing about these places is the consistency. I bet you could do this challenge a few more times and have significantly different results. Thank you both for braving it.
I'm surprised by how Culver's went
As someone who flipped burgers at Steak n’ Shake for a good 6 months, I have this weird feeling of pride that it was the best. It certainly is to me. We take refrigerated meat pucks and slam it on to the griddle with the spatula, give it a special seasoning, cheese it, and slide it on a toasted bun. So good.
Josh says he doesn’t remember the baconator tasting that good but it’s also the first time he ate a fast food burger that wasn’t 3 hours old and at room temperature 😂😂😂
I’m surprised A&W wasn’t on this list. They have like 600 locations across the US, and is the oldest restaurant chain. Would have been interested to hear your opinion compared to some of the others.
you should 100% do this with chicken sandwiches next <3
To be fair for McDonald’s, everyone tries the Big Mac because it’s the most popular, but the quarter pounder is a better burger to put against the rest of these places… Wendy’s is my favorite and I don’t have the top 3 in my state, so I’m happy with where it landed in the rankings.
Giving five guys a lower ranking than burger king is a war crime

Christian is the perfect balance for you, naturally funny and serious about the food stuffs - - - do more content with him.
I love how they made rules and after that were like 'it is too culturally significant, so what if it isn't following rules?"
I'd like I say, Culver's does take awhile, but I've NEVER seen one of their burgers not have the cheese melted on it. I think you just went to a Culver's where they were way too busy and rushing, or one that just doesn't care. Never seen that happen in my life at any of the Culver's I'd go to in my state (Michigan, Grand Rapids area, but also some in other cities as well). I'd blame the workers for that one.
The fact you didn’t order the butter burger from Culver’s is criminal
I stopped at a random Dairy Queen in north central Massachusetts. I was blown away how good the cheeseburger was. I raved about it to my family. I took them to a Dairy Queen closer to where I live. That one was the worst Burger I had ever had. I couldn't believe it was from the same chain
They should have done a Quarter Pounder from McD's. Since they changed it from frozen to fresh meat it's WAY better than a Big Mac!!
It feels like it’s been forever since Weissman just made a cooking video for something I wanna try to cook.
I can totally see a few followup videos in this series, e.g. tacos, pizzas, fishburgers, chicken sandies, waffles...
I was so happy to see Steak N Shake snatch the no. 1 spot at the eleventh hour like that. I have loved Steak N Shake for a long time and what's more, they're actually not doing very well these days, so I hope this video helps spread the word that Steak N Shake is worth going back to.
Feels like there wasn't a strict guideline for picking the burgers from each place. Some ordered single patty, some ordered double, never been to white castle but ordered the most basic slider instead of other options, etc. It was interesting to see so many places in one video though!
