Love the long form content
Thank you for leaving in the mistakes! I much rather see "real life" than tv/influencer set up where everything is perfectly measured out into tiny bowls and nothing is ever spilled or messed up!
"I don't have air conditioning" brother in Christ, I live from Florida. That's the scariest thing I've ever heard.
I’m a college runner and worked at a running store for a while. Best cure for plantar fasciitis long term is strength and mobility exercises. Especially for your lower legs and feet. But obviously this needs to be combined with rest and relief. Also make sure your shoes aren’t too narrow at the front. If your shoes force your toes (especially the big toe) into a bunion shape, this can restrict blood flow to your plantar fascia and cause pain. For short term relief, massaging the bottom of your foot and calf with a frozen water bottle or tennis ball are good options too.
Thank you all so much for watching, I appreciate every single one of you!! I hope you enjoyed!! All the written resipes are here: / And just a heads up, here are a few things coming soon; Prawn Rolls, Complete Fried Rice Guide, Street Tacos, Chicken Meal Prep!! And please let me know what else you want to see!!
IS NO ONE GONNA METION THE DUDE STARING IN THE WINDOW
Hearing you say "oil" instead of "food lube" really startled me 😂 I'm happy to see your longform content! You are, obviously, a very good cook, and really lovely to learn from!
You're a genuinely wholesome dude, its great to see how far you have come. Also, 9:13, you had a visitor. Oh dear I'm scared lol
Been absolutely nailing it with the longer form content. Has a real communal feel to it, like folks just chilling at a kitchen island prepping for a dinner party or something.
You, el cook, and future canoe are the best in the game right now. There's no "I try every fastfood napkin" content and that's beautiful. we're here for the food! Thank you!
One of my favorite things about your content is the frequent, gentle reassurances about things that can be changed in a process with no problems (like using different pots, alternate ingredients, or varying amounts of seasoning to taste), paired with the very pointed explanations about things that ARE important to be specific about. It's very, very encouraging and I've been thinking about trying a few of the recipes you've shown! Thank you for all the lovely videos, whether short or longform, they're all great!
For the potatoes, one trick I would use is I would make bake potatoes to go with steak or something for dinner. I would throw some extra potatoes in the oven and then fridge them. Use them in the morning. Works great.
3:45 No air-con?? Man aren't you in Texas?? Saluting you for your bravery 😭🫡
My five year old son loves watching your content. He waits in anticipation to see the bowl flip! You’ve brought joy to our household, thank you ❤
No air conditioning? In this climate? You are a warrior. Thank you for the fantastic recipes tho!
10:47 please never stop being like that
My husband has plantar fasciitis, and works at a wearhouse. His doctor recommended freezing bottles of water and using them to massage his feet to help with the pain at the end of the day. It's really nice especially if it's hot out!
So Ian, about the feet. I have that too. The most effective thing I do is a stretch my hamstrings on a step every day. Find a step where you can grab something for balance and then balance on the edge of the step as far onto your toes as possible then lower your heels as far as possible off the edge of the step for 10-15 seconds. Then stand up on your tippy toes for 5-10 seconds, then drop your heels back down. Rinse repeat for a total of about 2 minutes. Every day. It should-PULL- but not -HURT- . Like it should s t r e t c h but not feel like it’s tearing. Every single day. 2 minutes. After a week or two, the pain goes away.
2:17 Poland approves
4:18 I make this for breakfast often. I usually grate my potatoes so I can make them crispy.
