Butter: ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted Sugar: 1 cup white sugar Eggs: 2 large eggs Vanilla: 1 tsp vanilla extract Cocoa Powder: ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder Flour: ½ cup all-purpose flour Salt: ¼ tsp salt Optional: ¼ tsp baking powder (for slightly less dense, more cake-like texture) Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips Instructions Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8-inch square baking pan or line it with parchment paper for easy removal. Mix Wet Ingredients: In a large bowl, mix the melted butter and white sugar. Whisk in the eggs and vanilla extract. Whisk vigorously for about 1 minute until the mixture is slightly pale and shiny, which helps create a crackly top. Add Dry Ingredients: Add the cocoa powder, flour, salt, and baking powder (if using). Stir with a spatula or wooden spoon just until combined and no white streaks remain. Do not overmix, as this can make the brownies cakey. Fold in Mix-ins: If using chocolate chips or nuts, gently fold them in now. Bake: Spread the batter into the prepared pan. Bake for 25–30 minutes. The brownies are done when the top is dry and the edges are slightly pulling away from the pan. Cool: Let the brownies cool completely in the pan on a wire rack before cutting. This ensures they set properly into a fudgy texture. Tips for Perfect Brownies For Fudgy Brownies: Underbake slightly rather than overbake. A toothpick inserted in the center should come out with moist crumbs, not raw batter, but not completely clean. For a Shiny Top: Make sure your sugar is fully dissolved in the wet mixture. Whisking the eggs and sugar well beforehand is crucial. Best Results: Use high-quality cocoa powder and, if possible, line the pan with parchment paper to prevent sticking Butter: ½ cup (115g) unsalted butter, melted Sugar: 1 cup white sugar Eggs: 2 large eggs Vanilla: 1 tsp vanilla extract Cocoa Powder: ⅓ cup unsweetened cocoa powder Flour: ½ cup all-purpose flour Salt: ¼ tsp salt Optional: ¼ tsp baking powder (for slightly less dense, more cake-like texture) Optional: ½ cup chocolate chips Instructions Preheat and Prepare: Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Tip : You can also use butter for the egg part! I tried it and they came out very flabbergasting! (This tip is for my fellow vegetarian Indians! ✨)
Will definitely try! Such a fun idea!
