Looks good. The only thing I personally would do differently is marinate the chicken overnight in lemon juice to tenderize the chicken. Everything else is spot on delicious!

I get that it's in the pan so it's fried but that's not what we consider fried Chicken.

Consider letting the oil cool down before slowly adding the water. OR skip the H20, remove the breasts and saute the onions briefly (and some sliced peppers) in the oil that remains and serve, on rice. Or tortillas, salsa and sour cream.

I have fried chicken with any possible seasoning, included are Greek yogurt, coconut milk, and honey too. Your recipe is delicious. Often I mix barbecue sauce with ketchup or even stew chicken with rice, tomatoes, peas, corn, but this is my winter recipe.❤❤❤❤
