One of the things that I would recommend is to give them psyllium husk it books up there so if they are having diarrhea, it is best to give them psyllium husk The pumpkin is a good idea cause we still use pumpkin to this day in their food because we used to just use pumpkin to fit as that bulk agent for fiber by now the vets have said that we need to add psyllium husk as well, which is like a tablespoon because of his weight and then in addition, we usually give him other kinds of supplementation for probiotics. Typically, we use the visbiome. But changing a dog’s diet can cause issues so what you’ve been doing so far is great. I mean I never realized all this other stuff that you could do for your dog like using probiotics and yogurt and such so that’s pretty cool, but if your dog is having any sort of abdominal upset, looking into things like fiber is a great idea any kind of probiotic also making sure they’re not drinking too much water than what they normally do cause that can be caused for concern if they’re lying down too much drowsy, lethargic that sort of thing because sometimes you can overlook certain factors that should be brought to the vet sooner but your dogs look so cute. That’s adorable.

I have a senior black lab that is about 12 or 10. I believe he is very old but he acts very young and in the past he’s eaten rocks and has had multiple surgeries. He also had a surgery for a splenectomy when he had a 10 pound mass removed and most recently as of believe two years ago had or possibly a year ago had bloat and that was terrifying and what we know now is what we should’ve known years ago is that bigger dogs or even medium sized dogs can get bloat any kind of dog can get bloat but usually it’s typically best to let them out before they go eat for like maybe like 30 minutes whatever and then wait to feed them for about 30 minutes or so and then after they eat, you wait about an hour to an hour 30 minutes. And then the chances of bloat and drop, which is good because you don’t want your dog to get bloat it is terrifying
