Mark takes a look at Gavin Free's 168Tb LaCie Thunderbolt 3 RAID storage system. This very expensive system stopped working, and with no support from the manufacturer, The Slow Mo Guys' Gavin Free reached out to Mark, to see if he could fix it. Unfortunately, Mark didn't read any manual for it, so also has to work out how to turn it on! Gentlemen, we gather here once again to consume yet another piece of content about a subject we know absolutely nothing about. And yet, we shall watch every single second with our fullest attention, calmly sipping our finest spirits and enjoying an excellent cigar as if we were distinguished experts in the field.
"Enough storage to hold all of Pornhub", I nearly choked on my coffee! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
This is the crossover I didn’t expect and didn’t know I wanted.
Amazing diagnostics skills with super high master knowledge of electronics were needed for this fix! Amazing Mark!
Out off all those thousand components on that board, replacing that one little mosfet did repair it. Fantasic Mark, you did it again!
Don’t interrupt me, Mend It Mark just published a video!
What a perfect investigation. Pure pleasure to watch. Thanks Mark!
Im still trying to work out how you figured that out mark. I was sure this was going to be a 2 part video. Great work once again!
It is truly wonderful watching a real diagnostic genius at work! No frivolous checking of every zero ohm resistor, half-assed replacement of “might be bad” parts (particularly capacitors) or heating of “suspect” solder joints . Just logical and methodic, data-driven fault isolation. Well done!
Never ceases to amaze me Mark!
1:22 well I was taken by surprise here, well done 😂
Smashing adeptness, humble mild mannered genius say I. Our since I live in Idaho ... The British culture would give the highest compliment in their typical understated manner, "Not half bad". (Smile) Thank you Mark for sharing your adroit knowledge.
Obviously, this man is genius.
1:18 A wonderful new unit of measurement for the modern age 🤣
That was Freakin' Amazing! No docs, just experience and dogged determination. Cheers from Montana, USA.
The better hands have worked magic once again. :)
I may have said this before...but the introduction to this video is always worth a watch just to see Mark getting 'Capacitored'...and he always manages a smile each time...NOW..on the video..
Wow mend it Mark and computer hardware. I really wish we could double like such videos
To think companies and people scrap machines like this over a "transistor" worth mere cents. Ofcourse the diagnostic cost is something. But still well worth it.
so methodical, it's fascinating to watch Mark work! Love this channel <3 :)
