I have a Sony MiniDisc player and the opening mechanism is beautiful. It's something you can't get from an ipod or a music app.
You don't have to put a clip to visualize every word he says. Maybe the umbrella in the door is necessary to see but showing a water faucet not working or a hole in the floor is unnecessary. I would rather focus on the speaker unless you truly need to cut to describe what he's talking about

I am surprised by this clip, and how it did not reveal Rory’s understated displeasure with DoubleTree but remembering that they unexpectedly gave him a fresh baked cookie.
This is what so many people don't get, they can't even get the basics right like cleanliness but think "here's a cookie" will make up for that. The point is it's HARD to get to the baseline, real hard, then it's surprisingly easy to elevate beyond that.
For me, some quirks hide the faults

At this point I'm convinced there's a conspiracy amongst podcasters to make sure this man is never comfortable. JFC, can we just get him a chair he can sit on without having to sprawl out like he *always* is, clearly not from comfort...
He's just making things up at this point
Look these are things in the past. The only company making quality anymore is Apple. Everyone else is putting out the cheapest thing imaginable. Nobody gives a single crap about the product they put out. Or the country they rule. Or the company they run.

My friends Kenwood KRC-999 car stereo receiver with it's pop out control panel and remote control on steering. Best stereo in the late 80s. Just made car feel special.
