Exactly the same principle as building any structure. Get the base level, square, and in alignment. And it stays right all the way up to the roof. Check, check and check again - then build it.

Ginormous!

Our woodshed is about 5 x 5 meters. It's on raised concrete pillars to keep it off the ground. The floor is slatted, so airflow is possible. The walls have vertical boards, with small gaps between them. And on the inside of two of the walls we have extra vertical planks to work as the endstop of each stack, and also to keep the wood away from the walls.(even better air circulation, and less moisture from the rain on windy days) It's also divided into 4 rooms with walls with air gaps, and every room has its own door.(front and back.) There's hinged panels on the sides that can be opened to allow even more air in if the wood is still wet. Even the doors have two hooks so that they can be left slightly open.

This is a case of needs must and the carpenters daughter is the mother of invention 😅. Hopefully the weather will improve again to give you more time to work on it and as a bonus produce some more video footage. Take care Vikkie and regards to your husband

Hi 👋 From France, looking 👀 great, and doing the finishing touches with skirting boards around the edges, 😂, you will never guess what I have been doing this week, 🪾🪵🪾🪵🪾🪵, I can’t afford all that timber, I am not telling you what to do, but is not good to show your vehicles number plate, Good luck with your project. Stay safe., a little comment about my property., the living accommodation of it is upside down, 🙃 😂, the bedrooms are downstairs. The lounge kitchen dining room is upstairs so I can see out across the countryside., but it means I have to bring up all my logs up two flights of stairs, to the back of my building where my log 🪵 burner is , ❤ from France,

Can't wait for part 2, and maybe part 3 as its that big. For those of us with a more modest log collection really looking forward to the end result❤❤
