morgan, I’m about to turn 24 and I have watched you since the very first youtube video you uploaded, that to say I have always looked up to you, you have been a safe space for me when I’m overwhelmed, and I think about you when I feel the scary feelings of “what if my life never gets better.” I’m crying right along side you, tears of joy for you and getting to watch you grow into such a beautiful person, and at my own hope for myself to sit there one day and say “I used to think this was impossible.”

The 20’s are for making mistakes, 30’s are for fixing them, & 40’s are for having a blast. I’m mid 50’s and have no more f’s to give. I’ve mostly lived alone (I just bought a house with my partner 3 years ago) and I ABSOLUTELY LOVE LIVING ALONE!! lol gurl you are financially independent, have an amazing support system, and own your own house. Don’t eff it up by lowering your standards. I hope you fall for someone who brings something to the table, otherwise they’re all temporary. My Grandma passed 2 weeks ago, and I resonated so much when you said you don’t want to look back and wish you had spent more time with your family. I never thought I was going to lose her; just was never a reality that crossed my mind. I wish I could’ve gotten just one more moment with her. Give your grandma a hug as much as you can!

A belated Happy Birthday Morgan! Lizzie is wise. We can only control today and where we are going. We only hurt ourselves holding onto stuff we can’t change. I love hearing you recognise what you have, your health and loved ones. I realised this too late, I lost my health, I took the simple things for granted. However, my experiences have led me to a new appreciation for the things I can still do or the days I am well enough to feel the sun on my body. Everyday you could pick up the phone and have someone on the other end who genuinely cares for you is a good day. Sometimes it’s just the small things that can fulfil us. Life doesn’t have to be so complicated.
I felt so behind graduating university at 27… looking back now that I’m 40… I can’t believe I thought that. You have SO much time to get what you want in this life and figure it all out… I felt like my anxiety dropped significantly in my 30s I knew more about who I was and what I wanted and didn’t want. What I was willing tolerate and not. I started to know my worth and felt more confident and the future didn’t scare me as much. Your best days are in front of you!!! Happy birthday ❤
