Finally!!! Some common sense. I’ve had to lose over 20kg after the birth of my four children & a few years ago after a period of grief & depression. I’ve always succeeded, no matter what age I am. Portion size, adequate protein & healthy snacks worked for me, along with daily cardio & weight training 5x /week. At 61, feeling fabulous. Keep up the great work my love. You don’t have to starve yourself to lose weight & you don’t need drugs, just discipline & commitment.💖💪🏼

Can you pls tell me what qualification do you have to coach 1:1 ( for weight loss). I am not sure how your coaching works( do you give some weight loss plan and if so do you assess the client's health prior to starting it or it is one thing/ plan that fits most(?

Thank you SO MUCH because this is exactly my problem. I literally don't know which eating 'regime' to follow because of all the conflicting advice, and all that happens is my appetite disappears or I eat carbs!!

Yep. Figured this out after years of eating disorders. Listen to your body. What do you feel good eating and what fills you up that is healthy and nutritious. Finally down to my goal weight at almost 30 years old. It looks different for everyone

I saw a popular fitness influencer doing (female) cycling calorie deficit, and regularly keeping everything super low fat and high protein - swear to you, I did that 80/10/10 macro split for many years, and ended up with a thyroid issue and my female* hormones were shot! Do not ever recommend ever cutting fat if you’re a female. Balance it out ladies, get active if you can. Don’t turn fitness and health, into an eating disorder where you lose your period, develop auto immune issues, and become menopausal before your natural time 😢

Intermittent fasting allows one to eat whatever they want and still lose weight. Fasting is not suffering when you assess how you actually feel. Empty stomach feels great. High energy high attitude. Have to throw off society’s presumption that fasting is suffering. It is actually the opposite.

I used to think I just loved food too much, but later I realized the real issue was how loud my appetite felt. I tried so many things that didn’t last,until I found a way to quiet it down. That’s when everything felt easier. After losing weight,people were impressed-but when I explain how, they treat it like a story.
