Just a heads up for everyone meal prepping this for more than just 4 servings: either use ultra-pausterized milk or heat it on a low-medium heat right until it boils before adding it to your potatoes. This way you'll make sure your mashed potatoes won't go sour for much longer.

Now I know why I used to pronounce it as, "parmesanne". I'm a Canadian in her late forties, and growing up, my teachers taught us the UK way to spell and pronounce things. My father was also an immigrant who came from a counrry that was ruled by the Brits at one point, so he also pronounved everything with a British accent. Then I moved to the States as a teen for a brief while, and that changed the way I pronounced some words. Although I no longer say, "parmesanne", I'll never use American spelling. The UK spelling has been permanently ingrained in me, lol.
