I'm sad about Dolly Parton. Every time a celebrity over 60 passes away, it's a reminder that the baby boomer generation is in their "golden years". My favorite thing about Dolly, aside from her immense talent, is that she LOVED being a girl and was proud to be a girl. She was so feminine in so many ways and was never ashamed about it. Nowadays, we don't really celebrate femininity in a healthy way. We don't know what to do with it, really. Dolly knew how to put on a dress and heels, do her hair and makeup, be gentle and sweet and STILL be successful, strong, and have uncompromising faith in God. R.I.P. Dolly. 🙏💕🇨🇦

I love Dolly! Since I was a kid! She was only 9 years older than I am. We will miss her terribly. But she is home with Jesus, her husband and all her family and with all the great country singers that went ahead of her!❤❤❤❤❤❤
Dolly was a beauty inside and out. True to herself, kind to everyone, and from all I know she kept the second commandment faithfully- love thy neighbor as yourself.
Love Is Like A Butterfly was the first Dolly Parton song that I remember being played on the radio. I sincerely hope that she called upon the name of Jesus, as we ALL NEED to do. I pray that this will be a time for everyone to reflect on our own mortality and to look UP to God. Honestly, I feel that we are on The Titanic, and Jesus is coming back SOON!!
