Hi Rae, looks like the animals are enjoying the weather, and than the rain came. We had similar weather today in Michigan, with a little rain to cool things off. Not enough rain to help with the dryness, but enough to just give us fresh air! My cat likes to lay down like Willow ,on her back.
Never give up on your plants too soon. Sometimes they go into shock from the weather. Sometimes when it gets really hot, try watering at the base instead of the leaves.
