You asked for our take on this! My view is that any design that is so similar in design to another brand really does cross the line. I also think that if you are worried about security then this dupe type bag is still a target as thieves are not going to know it is not a real Hermes. I know this is not a fake bag but they are so so similar so it's a no from me! Weirdly enough I have a video coming out that I filmed today about brands like this as I have seen this brand explode over social media over the last few weeks. I pose the question is it ever ok for brands to make products that are clearly so so similar to Hermes. The old dupe vs copy debate. Thanks for addressing this.

The bags are so lovely, but if you got rid of your Hermes for peace of mind and safety these are too similar to guarantee that. Especially in London, someone will go past you on a bike and swipe it and worry about it being real later, at a glance it’s the same bag

Hello dear Lydia 🙂 I can understand your decisions regarding luxury handbags. Honestly, hats off to you for following through with it. But somehow, I feel like you’re getting in your own way a little. You can still keep one or two bags that you particularly love. Safety is important, of course, but so are the little moments of happiness you get from carrying a bag, planning an outfit around it, and enjoying it. It’s such a shame that because of crazy people, normal people have to make sacrifices. And it’s sad that we’ve reached a point where you have to be afraid simply because you own certain things.
Lydia, the bags are 100% copies of Hermes bags. There is no question about it. It’s hard because they are beautiful but I think you should say no to them and that lady should go and work for Hermes, if she wants to continue making them. Otherwise, she can be sued for selling them
P.S. Lydia, after watching the way you and Ali were washing the chicks to help them with their skin issues, my heart was so touched by the very gentle and loving way you were taking such wonderful care of them. So lovely!
The bags are lovely & I know you've been in search of the perfect one for a long time, but I think the question would be whether you really think it eliminates the safety issue? Is it going to be obvious to someone with ill intentions that it's not Hermes? Personally, I think it leaves you a target.

I have three of this ladies bags and I love them so much, the quality is amazing and I get so many compliments on them. I purchased mine because of a lady I follow and it’s her friend’s company so yes support a British company please.
Those bags are beautifully made, but personally I would go for something that doesn’t try to look like Hermes.
