I vote for the big stones on either side of the gates!!! It exudes continuity with the entire property and the craftmanship and skills that it took for this grand home. Pain peels and fades after a while in the hot sun while stones are forever.
Driveway and gateposts and stone wall looking great! Best, though, was taking dad's temperature on the back of his head while he was diligently focused on repairing the driveway stones! So spontaneous, and genuinely a keeper! Leave it to a child's perspective to bring laughter in the most unexpected ways. And John didn't even blink, pause or miss a beat, he just stayed with it which made it even more funny. Of course, "ambitious" Joal's home and his garden was pretty spectacular too. So happy for them! Always a party at The Newbys with the Team in play! Pace... Pace... and joy and laughter! 😄😄😄😄👍👍👍👍
