There was a group of 12 that left Houston about 40 years ago. We rode motorcycles west to California, up the west coast into Canada and into Alaska. Saw a bunch of bears, no moose, but in the evenings we heard a lot of elk buguling up in the mountains. A lot of eagles flying. Non stop riding, never did the touristy thing. Now I too old to walk around, so I wont be going back, but it was a beautiful adventure back then. The one thing I remember were the mosquitoes. Biggest ones I had ever see.
Just had surgery the day this video was released that's going to keep me off the trails for 6 weeks, so thank you for this from Northeast Florida.

Your very blessed to be able to travel to all these gorgeous places,me and daddy always wanted to do the appalachian trail,go to Montana and Wyoming and Alaska and Canada we never made it to any of those places,but ive done part of the appalachian trail in memory of my daddy,my health is bad now and im older but I still hope I can get in shape enough to do atleast some more of the appalachian trail,daddy would have loved to see all the beautiful and gorgeous landscapes and places while you was there,we always watched all the nature programs on Channel 8 many many years ago and we couldn't wait till the Alaska and Canada programs came on,thank you for posting these videos they really mean alot to watch when im not able to adventure myself,have a beautiful and blessed day
Wow, that was like a dream vacation. Alaska is unbelievably beautiful. A place in Alaska and one in Florida. A home for the winter and one for the summer. Fall and Spring in Arkansas. Rent the homes out when you are not there. Just dreaming for you. Smoked salmon is so yummy and fresh haddock is delicious. Hope you enjoyed yourself. Stay well and safe. I lived in Alaska for 6 years, and I loved it. I’ve been trying to make my way back up there. My favorite places I’ve been is Talkeetna. I lived in the area for two years and fell in love with the people and culture. Denali is another place I like to go, and Kodiak. I lived there for about two years.
