Here's an odd thing about cats - they don't like their water right next to their food. If you move their water dish across the room, they will drink more. That's why Tootie wants to drink out of George's water bowl.

Glad you went back!! I've had cellulitis multiple times. I was told once you get it, you are more likely to get it again. And I definitely don't want to scare you, but it can be very serious, so if you have these symptoms again, go to the doctor!! I'm glad you're feeling better!!

I did the same thing a long time ago. My wife and I went to see a movie and I had sat my soda on the floor, I reached down to pick up the cup and hit my elbow on the arm of the theater chair. I didn't think too much about it, but when my wife woke me up to go to work my elbow was swollen, red and hot. I went to work any way and when my boss saw my arm he sent me home. I went to my doctor the next morning, as my elbow was worse. To make a long story short, I had to have surgery on my elbow. That went real bad, they put a drain in the elbow, that they pulled out a little each day but there was no improvement. I developed a severe infection and was in the hospital for 6 weeks.
I had cellulitis and they DID cut and drain it and felt relief immediately. Things that make you go Hmmmm
