Hi everyone! This week we have a huge declutter, luxury repairs, and seeing how much we can make selling at the car boot sale! I’m taking my vintage Louis Vuitton bags to Bond Street to find out about repairs, having a look at the latest summer home inspiration in Ralph Lauren Home, update on the Fortnums oven glove and doing a HUGE declutter ready for selling at the car boot sale! I’m also sharing some of my car boot sale selling tips as Luke and I head to Peckham Car Boot to sell our decluttered treasures and raise money for two brilliant charities. Plus, I head to Crystal Palace Bowl to see the incredible Grace Jones and Sophie Ellis-Bextor, try Lidl’s lemon dessert made inside a REAL lemon 🍋, and share a little LUSH hack and new treat! I hope you enjoy :) 📖 My book - Clean in 15 The Sunday Times Bestseller: https://amzn.to/4iNxKO3 🛍️ THINGS MENTIONED LUSH Harvest Moon Shower Gel https://www.lush.com/uk/en/p/harvest-moon-shower-gel Louis Vuitton – Bond Street Ralph Lauren Home - Bond Street Premier Inn London Hotel Recommendation Vlog https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pGf7Aetacc0&t=91s Luke’s YouTube Channel Peckham Car Boot Sale: https://www.peckhamcarboot.com/ ❤️ CHARITIES WE’RE SUPPORTING 🐱 Celia Hammond Animal Trust: https://www.celiahammond.org/ 💙 Mind: https://www.mind.org.uk/ Thanks so much for watching and don’t forget to LIKE & SUBSCRIBE if you enjoyed the vlog! #LondonVlog #MrCarrington #LouisVuitton #CarBootSale #Decluttering #London

Hi everyone! Hopefully this is second time lucky and we have the correct video now 😝 apologies for any inconvenience or confusion this morning! I hope you enjoy ❤
Iwan, the customer is Always RIGHT!! Plus that glove is dangerous!!! for sure! I bet it cost a pretty penny to get that from FM, and if their customer service was how I think it was, not acceptable! Don't keep it, get a refund, and defo follow up, they shouldn't make you feel a certain way, for doing a return, and 'helping them not get a law suit by telling them about a faulty product!!! good luck Mr C xxx
Oven glove - If an oven glove lets heat straight through, and has insufficient heat protection as you have shown, it is not fit for purpose under UK consumer law (Consumer Rights Act 2015), meaning you have the right to a refund or replacement from the seller. In the UK, domestic thermal protection must meet safety expectations and carry proper conformity markings for heat hazards.
Hi Iwan if it was me, I would take the second oven clove back to fortnum and masons and get my money back, there’s no point in having something that doesn’t do its job, it just goes to show you don’t always get what you paid for, if I recall it wasn’t cheap, I hope you get it sorted Iwan take care 🏴🐶❤️🙏
Well....as a former machinist (I used to make leather sofas for Harrods and Heals, amongst others) that stitching is terrible, they should have back stitched either side of the pivot point where they have cut it so it lays flat .... Tut...tut!!! Anyhoo!!! Well done on getting more pennies for Celia's Kitty's xx
No question about it. Return the oven glove. 🧐
The whole expensive bag thing is so not my world! But then I’m not a young man about town!
Mr C.; I think you should go back to Fortnums & politely (of course you would be 😍) ask to speak to the manager. Explain what happened & request a refund or store credit. Usually only managers have the power to overide poor customer service and adjust for problem products. . If it gets really “sticky,”, you might mention you are a youtube influencer, TV “host” and author and your audience is waiting to hear your experience, but I would save that to use only if necessary.😁👍🏻💛
I was v interested to hear what you said about F&M. I experienced the worst ever customer service from them. I will definitely never order on line from them again. It was a real eye opening experience.
My Brother in Denmark has just discovered ''Sort your life out.'' He loves to have a declutter or visit his local charity shop.
The oven glove does not look very good quality considering it is from a quality shop 🌸🌸
Oven glove is definitely shoddy and I would get a refund, I bet you would probably get a better quality one in Primark.
Hi mr carinton. Ur cats a so lucky to have you and the lovely life thay have u really are a lovely man bless you ❤
Worth the wait! Always enjoy seeing you and Luke together.
Oven mitt is dangerous! Good luck on your quest of going backwards and forwards for it. Maybe film the evidence that you've shown us to them. I think you should stick to tea towels for now <3
Those poor dogs at the Boot sale , gasping in the heat .
Hi That F&M palaver is awful, and to hear you had bad customer service is even worse. I’m truly shocked at the standard of product and the poor service you’ve had from Britain’s iconic store. Please persevere with this as I feel it is important. Does it say if the product was made in UK or elsewhere? The fact you were fobbed off with yet another ‘not fit for purpose’ glove leads my to say I’d actually take this complaint to Trading Standards. Good luck my friend. I cannot abide poor service or sub standard products. Especially so when it’s from a highly reputable institution.
Hey Iwan , thanks for showing us round Ralph Lauren, love the way they style , was so cute Pumpkin & Mittons , inspecting the car boot items . Glad the car boot went well , lovely items , you & Luke are pro’s at car boot sales !! , have a nice week 🌞🌞🌞
Hi Iwan well done on your bootie sale great result for the cats 🐈 home. OK back to your oven glove , having worked in retail I think your first contact should be via telephone asking to speak to a manager informing them you are returning the item which is already faulty before use due to shoddy workmanship, every item you buy should be fit for purpose. You can alway mention trading standards to them. Sorry for going on a bit 😬 😅 take care x
I love a good old car boot sale xx ones nearist to me are more like markets with no bargains to be had xx always enjoy your videos xxx
