I know you didn’t ask but I learned that using the builders decoration vendors was more expensive than if we just moved in with the bare bones and then hired out all the upgrades after.
I would go with a house that someone is already living in and has done the landscaping. Saves you lots of money 😊 Best Wishes finding your home

I know you only know what’s best for you, but think about going smaller or lower cost than you might originally think! Home ownership is expensive! And financial freedom is everything. It’s the difference between traveling a lot vs grinding all the time! Lifestyle creep starts quickly when your first home is most people’s dream. Furniture, landscaping, decor etc… then kids. it all adds up so quickly. You can start a family and have a nice place, while still feeling like you have a lot of financial breathing room.
you guys could probably find a great property in tennessee with some acreage with your budget
Unless ur planning for this to be ur final house, I would go with something smaller, like a 3bed

In New Zealand they can do that. Pick up a house and move it and I’m pretty sure they do this in Australia, as well.
SO fun fact...in utah you can keep your property taxes cheaper if you dont finish your basement. Thats why you'll see so many homes with unfinished or partially finished basements.
