Thank you for clarifying things around the cottage renovation. A lot of us grew emotional attachment to that house because of lockdowns. There were weeks where the only thing that could put me in a good mood and lift me up was a cottage video. It was so, it is safe to say, healing to see something being brought back to life, restored, and loved in that moment in time when entire world looked like it was falling apart. I have an auto-immune disease, and was "glued" to my house for months. That project kept me enthusiastic and I literally counted days in between videos. It was one thing I was always looking forward to and was excited about.
I love how you cut through the noise and stay true to yourself. It’s a rare quality in today’s influencer world. ❤
It’s really weird how attached some people are to other person’s cottage 😅. It’s even weirder that they ask a content creator to give explanations about their decisitions. I Guess this is the world now. I LOVED the cottage content and it helped me a lot with depression, but I would never ask someone to be accountable of why then don’t do what I want to see. MaCenna, you are amazing and this is a new chapter in your life, which is very inspiring. I love to see how much you have mature as a mom and a business woman. I think no one is the same person or has the same priorities as a few years ago. You don’t own us an explanation but I’m pretty sure the people asking about the cottage are still going be asking about it after seeing this video 😅
The cottage series was my favorite. Sad to hear it's paused. I liked that they showed more of the DIY.
