Holy shit, I think I used to live in this unit from about 2016-2021. The unit is identicle and I recognise that view out the window.

Suggestion: to eliminate the light gap at the corner over the couch, usa a couple of magnets sewn into the curtain and either more magnets or a little metal stuck to the wall. Helps remind the curtain to snug up into the corner

I think the wooden accent wall needed a skirting strip to make it look more finished and to make the stain more intentional as the wall paint colour is pretty similar to the stain
