The only lettuce that’s really been affected is bagged lettuce so pre-cut and bagged if you buy uncut lettuce, you should be fine

New info that i just saw on the national news tonight: 'jalapeños are spreading salmonella😮. The unsafe jalapeños were being sold Mexican restaurants but i haven't heard of them being sold at stores. So, just be careful next time you go to Chipotle 😬

Our family has just been getting the heads of lettuce and all other fresh produce and fruits and we have all been not affected. It is all the bagged produce.

Baking soda, white vinager, and lots of rinsing helps produce be safer. If you have a dishwasher with a rinse cycle, put produce in there.

Now ppl are saying that frozen Berrys and lettuce has the same virus as the fresh does

Anything with a peel is fine. You can do lettuce as long as you remove the outer layer and wash it really well. Frozen things are good because you can cook them. And pickled/canned veggies and fruit is ok.

Just wash everything really good. The biggest issue is pre cut bags of lettuce/greens

I’ve been buying cans or little cups of fruit. Not the same😮😮😢😢

I also heard it was only Taylor Farms lettuce. I have bought plums, grapes, strawberries and raspberries with no problem, that’s in the 3 days. I also bought a head of lettuce just made sure it wasn’t from Taylor Farms. Absolutely no issues.

I’m sure u would’ve been fine also never trust the “flushable” things on the wipes it’s never true! 😅❤
