I'm so happy the surprise went well and you all had a lovely time. I'm quite taken aback, however, that someone at her hotel freely gave you her room number. I worked in a hotel for many years, and this is a massive safety breach, at least here in the US. I would be hesitant to stay at a hotel knowing this could happen.

I think there is something so soul healing about watching two women who are the best of friends, despite growing up in different countries and the way you both have become so close over the years that one could show up for the other and it would be totally wonderful and welcomed. What a gift. Recovering from surgery today and looking for positive videos to watch. This was so positive.
