Smart decision guys! The travel trailer will make everything so much easier.
Buying the RV was a good idea. Needing to sell one house to have the money for the new house is perfectly understandable. It will definitely be easier to work on the new house w/o living in it at the same time. The renovation, while exciting, will be a type of stress and with having the RV, you will be able to walk away from the house and give yourselves a mental break. Leaving the old garden will be very bittersweet after all of the love and effort put into it but creating a new one from scratch will be an exciting new adventure!!
P.S. I'm not sure which I love more. Gardening at the old house, or demo/renovations at the new one ❤
Don’t forget, you can throw a full size fridge somewhere on property during the Reno. Maybe the garage? It’ll be worth the time you’ll save not having to go back and forth. Smart move!

Yep....good plan! Listen, time is going to fly by. And...you guys are going to be in the best shape of your lives! We didn't have an RV but we worked every day on our 4 acres until it was renovated. Now, 23 years later, we're still making changes, mostly to the outside. It's a life long love affair with our favorite place in the world. I hope your new place brings you as much happiness! ❤❤❤
