You guys need some zone 7 gardeners! Sweltering hot summers and icy winters make gardening in Kentucky kind of tricky. The only thing I've figured out how to do well are tomatoes and turnips.

I love a fall garden. I am in Colorado and I just seeded some beets. In 2 weeks I will seed some more. I am also experimenting with fall broccoli.
I had broccoli in terracotta pots for spring. When the record heat took them out I cut the stalks to soil level and put the pots out of the way under the deck. They started growing again, so I started taking care of them like i meant to do that. Left them in that shady spot though.

For the ones whom want to know on the time stamp: "22:24 " i looked it up last time, because i saw some of them next to the purple cauliflower, the romanesco, is a mix spices between broccoli and cauliflower. which was fun to know, and no i did not yet try them but soon maybe i will. because they look delicious!
