Keep in mind while you are taking down wall boards and sheetrock that that ties the 2x4 structure which means it is supporting the cut support posts so you should put up temporary support beams ups until you fix the structure.
Get wiring also run into the basement so you can eventually add lighting/outlets down there. A space that big in your house has lots of opportunity/value.Maybe even plumbing if you can swing it.
I’ve been loving the house renovation videos Robbie! I’m in the UK, my house is around 120 years old perhaps a bit older, and it did make me chuckle that you said yours might be haunted. Thankfully mine isn’t, always a concern of mine with old properties haha 😂 I’m only in a Victorian terraced 2 bedroom house but your videos are inspiring me to actually decorate, I purchased the house 9 months ago so I should really get started! Just needs decorating rather than renovating, but you are honestly inspiring me to get a move on and start painting and decorating. I don’t have much of a garden but your videos, especially your garden tours, really inspired me to make a start with my garden. I can’t wait to see how your house comes along ❤
When you get overwhelmed, just go outside and look at all the land you now own!! I would love to have such a property with all that land!! Remember, that it can all be fixed. You will make it beautiful!! Can't wait for the next video!!
