Keep your eye on the prize, it will be a beautiful home. Look on the bright side: rewiring will be so much easier and faster if everything is back to studs and there will never be any hidden “surprises” for you further down the road

When you have an old house, every layer is hiding something. Every day is something else. But, when you are done, it will be amazing. Thank goodness for good friends. Remember that most of your viewers would all gladly be there to help if we could.

It is exciting video wise. We are looking forward to seeing it all. My husband I happened to watch this one with me. His advice - if it’s damaged, get rid of it. It will be better in the long run. His motto has always been. Do it once and do it right.

Finding those terrible walls was a blessing! New electrical and insulation will be an asset in this forever house!

Don’t worry about the videos being boring… I love this stuff, including demo. And don’t worry, everything can be fixed… new drywall will make the place look brand new.

It will actually make the renovations easier to take everything down to the studs. Easier to replace the electrical and get rid of the small free loaders. Might give you ideas for where some things need to be that you hadn't thought of too.
