You are 100% correct. I work in safeguarding and we dreaded the day England got knocked out of the football and like you I don’t care about football but checked the final score each morning and when they got knocked out I literally thought ‘oh it’ll be a domestic violence day 😢’ thankfully this year it was not the case (where I work at least) but yes there is usually a huge spike in cases. On a happier note…… Yay to more Kyle’s Corner 😊 (a good man indeed) even if he is loud 📢

In the US, they explained to us (as parents) that having BOTH parents there when minors get US passports significantly cuts down on custody-kipnapping type crimes. With such a diverse population of immigrants and such a large country size, we can only imagine what a big job that is to protect the safety of American kids LEAVING the states. Seems like a reasonable to ask of the adults, even if it just stops one kidnapping.

Stonehenge is great but book the private pre-opening tour where you can walk between the stones. The Malet Arms or the Bridge Inn or the wheatsheaf are nice pubs near Stonehenge but a drive away. I know the area well :-)
