This is Japan's Bullet Train! We’ll compare all of the Shinkansen’s High Speed Train seats in one 3-day trip in order to help you decide which is best for you! We traveled from Kagoshima at the southern terminus of the Shinkansen all the way to Hakodata at the northern end, stopping along the way in Kyoto and Tokyo. Day one was in Ordinary Class, then we stepped up to the Green Car for Day Two, and finally, on Day Three, we splurged for Gran Class! We’ll share exactly what you can expect from each seat type and the one thing everyone onboard gets to enjoy: The Unbelievable Views! Japan’s Shinkansen is such an amazing experience, it’s the world’s FIRST High Speed Train. In the Green Car, we’ll show you how to order food and drinks and, of course, we’ll share the wonderful tradition of buying Bento Boxes in the stations to enjoy onboard! We’ll even get “scientific” by measuring the space you get in each category: Ordinary, Green Car, and Gran Class! I’ll make a custom video for you! Cheapest ticket seat on the bullet train looks more comfortable than any airlines' economy seat.
Japan is always beautiful.
The world should all take notes on Japan's culture and character, beautiful
Thank you for coming again to Japan Jeb!! As a Japanese I'm very delightful that you had enjoyed Shinkansen experiences, and you made a video of it. Looking forward for your next visit🇯🇵 ありがとう!!
I'd love a behind the scenes video where you go into how you research a trip and video.
Congratulations on one million subscribers!! 🎉🍾🎊
Most train stations have self-heating bento boxes. It actually seemed like Suzanne had one for the second meal. But was unaware. Because I thought I could see the characteristic pull-string that activates them under her box. Something to consider the next time.
Jeb, thank you so much for covering this and explaining the rules and expectations in Japan and on the shinkansen! Arigato gozaimasu!
13:47 Looks like someone is a fan of Lost in Translation!
You were very well mannered on train & everyone, doesn’t matter Japanese or Americans, should be like you!!!
Japan just knows how to do things right! Would love to go there someday. Thanks Jeb and Suzanne and congratulations on a million subs! 👍🏻👏🏻🙌🏻🎈🤩🍾🥳
Japanese trains are amazing. 15 minute transfer time with Amtrak in US wound never work. I took coast starlight and was already impressed that it was only 45 minute delayed
Was there in March and dis a day trip from Osaka to Tokyo and back in a day in Green Class, totally worth it. Luckily got a perfect clear view of Mt Fuji. Going to Tokyo in September and going to ride again. Awesome video guys!!
If you have a Gran Class reservation from Tokyo station, you can access View Gold Lounge there.
Great vlog as always! Japan has been a dream to visit. Keep up the good work. Be safe!
Bullet train travel is just so much more civilized than airplane travel (especially economy). The comfort level is totally different. Also, no time wasted arriving early in the airport and going through security.
2:15 you can definitely have a quiet conversation with your seatmate. Just don't make phone calls or be loud
8:47 he said the numbererrrr 😂😂😂
I absolutely love Japanese trains!
