The way they’re holding the products remind me of when an actor/ actress have to hold a cigarette in a movie and have clearly never smoked before 😂

Penis gloss is not my jam. lol I cannot stand ads that just put in people for no real reason. Also, you can barely see the MAC product in the crook of that guys elbow because the black blends in. Speaking of blending in, NOONE swipes concealer and doesn't blend it.

Cringe ads (thirst traps included) is a good product repellant as far as I'm concerned. If your product can't stand on its own merit, I don't want it.

I am so confused and somewhat cringed out by the "can your concealer do this?" and it's just a single swipe of a concealer across a tattoo. First of all you dont just whack on a stripe of concealer. You blend it out so it looks natural and seamless. If they blended it out and it still gave great coverage, fine, but since they didnt theres literally no point apart from "conventionally attractive and bored-sounding man applies product that he couldnt care less about" WHY. WHO IS THIS FOR.

Personally, I'm just sick of ads being always sexual these days. Just show me what you're trying to sell! Not the bodies that are using/wearing it 😭

The Rare Beauty ad is a straight riff on Off Campus - Ella plays the main fmc there and her blushing is a plot point.

I feel like Kosas saw what elf did with Matt Rife and thought let's do the opposite but it just doesn't land.

I watch Seinfeld reruns too often and the lip gloss ad in front of the guy's junk reminded me of the woman Jerry met in first class and she points out a magazine ad with her coming out of the shower covered by not much and he asks what the ad is for and she says "See those wrinkled jeans slung over the chair? Way in the background, out of focus?" and I really can't be bothered to go back and add clearly-needed punctuation to this comment, okay good day.

Idk if it’s enough to never want to try them, but if I saw this on social media, it would immediately want to get as far as I can from it as fast as possible instead of clicking to check the products out, no matter what they were.
