I'm so grateful that you're going to help bring back the 'halter neck' style!! It's the most flattering line for so many different shaped bodies.... I dont' usually follow trends and wear my halter neck dresses and always feel great in them, but mine are from the 1990s and are beginning to show some wear.... I'd love to see some fresh fabrics for the halter style! Thank you!

Oh my gosh, on the other side of the world, when I walked past the Dior store in Brisbane recently I stopped in awe. The glazed ceramic cakes were so pretty. One of the best fashion house window displays I have ever seen. It was like a gallery exhibition with the gorgeous pastel dresses.

For our wedding I did my own makeup because I wanted to look like me, I didn't do my own hair because I'm hopeless! I did bake and decorate my own cake though. It was very simple with flowers from our florist on top and I was so happy with it. We had a small wedding which was perfect but I think I also wouldn't bother with a first dance either, it does just feel awkward!
The bit when you were in the taxi talking about weddings. I'm just laughing, we're in full last minute prep mode ahead of my brother's full Cheshire wedding (I dread to think of a figure for the day!). Compared to my sister who got married three years ago and called us one day from America saying happy Christmas by the way Simon and I are getting married tomorrow. They got married in snow gear, on top of a mountain, his best mate married them and they had two other friends at witnesses. That was it. I think that was a fabulous move! Not to knock my brother, but it's been a year of stress! But a wedding is so personal and individual, there's no right or wrong! But I'd definitely prefer to elope on the side of a mountain (took a little while for my mum to get over that!)
