The PS3 was a work of art. Unfortunately, the executive who initiated its development was replaced by someone who preferred a low-budget, AMD-based console. We all know how that turned out, right? The PS4 may have been a success, but the price of the PS5 is truly staggering.

In 2010, they linked 1,760 PlayStation 3 consoles together to build one of the Department of Defense's most powerful supercomputers. It cost roughly $2 million to build, which was about 90% cheaper than traditional supercomputers at the time.
