Please start discussing Linux compatibility in hardware videos, laptop reviews, etc.! It would be a good driver of awareness and might motivate manufacturers to support Linux more.

Please start adding Linux testing to Labs tests for the same hardware. Just pick a very mainstream Linux distro or two but keep the other hardware specs the same.

Where’s the Windows 11 benchmarks to sit alongside these? Plus Nvidia and Intel GPU, because they too vary between distros.
The fact that this popped up while I'm literally trying to kill time installing Nobara on my laptop is pure cosmic entertainment edit: for everyone who's been wishing me luck with the swap, it was painless. Super super plug-and-play, even though my laptop has an Nvidia GPU. My main desktop will be following suit very shortly now, good riddance, Windows 11.

I think a good video would be how do distros like Bazzite stack up against the distros they are based on? So Bazzite vs Fedora, CachyOS vs Arch, Ubuntu vs Mint, etc.

Wow, game specific music in the background of benchmarks is actually really good.
Mesa is only for AMD and Intel gpus. For NVIDIA you need to install a separate nvidia driver
you guys probably aren’t gonna hear much of this, but I think the distro mix is pretty solid. PikaOS was a surprise inclusion, but nice to have something Debian based. Very good variety.
Lets be honest, in 99% of cases the FPS difference may only be 1-3 FPS. What to look out for is: does it have quick driver installation, does it grab gaming related stuff on install. How easily can I update the system. Is the maintainer "gaming focused" aka even cares for such things. How fast do they implement features like Wayland or certain patches. Do they support VRR, stuff like that. Not the "base performance" of a distro.
Personally I use Fedora and it's fine for gaming. From what I saw from benchmarks these gaming distro's don't really perform that much better. I wish they would look into more main line distro's like Fedora, Arch Linux, Ubuntu, Linux Mint etc, instead of hyper focusing on gaming distos.
