I spotted this De'Longhi Eletta ECAM 44.660.B2 bean-to-cup coffee machine on eBay advertised as faulty and couldn't resist taking a chance. It originally retailed for around £899, but I picked it up for just £55. Was it a bargain... or have I wasted my money? In this video I'll strip it down, diagnose the fault, test the electronics and mechanical parts, and see if I can get this premium coffee machine making great coffee once again. Will it be an easy repair, or will it turn into another expensive lesson? Watch to find out! Stuck on 'rinsing' 😂 How apt considering it retailed at £900!
Great to have you back Vince, keep up the great work, best wishes from 🇮🇪
you never cease to amaze me with your repairs :)
Never thought to use grout lines as screw holders😂
Any one that would pay that kind of money for that has more money than sense.
Great video. Why anyone would want to spend so much on a machine to make coffee is beyond me. .
I know you have your own family and own life. But this is the first fixing channel that made me love fixing things and I think you have a decent personality. I like the way you talk, the way you explain things. Please more frequent videos just like in old times.
Welcome back Vince
"Cup of tea" button? 😂 I know you love your coffee, Vince, but you'll always be a proper English man. Good onya, mate!
He's back
It's so hot - was hoping for an Ice cream machine =D Fantastic job Vince! Hope you are keeping cool and not drinking too much coffee =D LOL @ the pressure incident!
Good work. You learned something there! If you do a bit of research O-rings are very much engineering marvels. They cannot be out of tolerance in even one dimension. The force on the ring squishes it so it seals both inside the hole and around the edge. I learned the hard way too, many years ago. It's a pain as you almost always have to order any replacement as just too many sizes to stock.
Vince! Nice to see a new video from you. You always have interesting content. Keep up the great work!😊
Thanks for still keep going on even when YT is doing things difficult for most content creators.
