As someone who despises ads, this is an excellent format even down to the "AD" prefix clearly visible in the name regardless of screen format/resolution.

This ad is better than most actual content on YouTube

I like these kinds of ads They bring more inherent value to the viewer than just a regular paid promotion because of the learning aspect of it we should have more ads like these

The ad industry needs to learn what kinds of ads we like, start with this one

I'm impressed. For once, someone actually disclosed sponsorship the right way on YouTube, and on top of that made an excellent video out of it too!

This is the perfect ad. Marked clearly as an ad, actually interesting, and genuinely improves my opinion of the product. Magnificent.

The part about the spark you didn't mention is that it doesn't need to jump that whole 1 cm air gap in one go. The spark starts when the plug first breaks contact with the socket, at fractions of a mm of separation. Once that initial tiny spark creates an ionized air path it takes much less voltage to stretch that path out than it would to jump an equivalent distance through unionized air (the basis behind the cool looking Jacobs ladder arc machine)

Don’t forget to shout out the magnetic fields for being a sponsor.

Wow what seamless sponsorship, I wonder what came first the video idea or the sponsorship offer?

An AD that actually teaches fundamental physics. Can't be mad at that.
